If you make your own music but feel like you could use some help then our Music Producer Drop-In is for you! Get guidance from a professional artist to develop your sound.
What will I get from taking part?
> Advice and support in using music production software like Ableton and Logic
> The opportunity to learn recording techniques like how to place microphones and extract the best possible sounds
> 1-2-1 feedback and guidance on your personal music projects
> Music production shortcuts and techniques to help you work faster and better

Who will be teaching the project?
Spider J, professional musician and producer specialises in urban, dub, hip hop, reggae and pop genres. Alongside touring and playing festivals around the world, Spider also sits on Roundhouse’s board of trustees.
Do I need any particular skills or experience to take part?
No experience necessary – the drop-in is designed to allow participants of all skill levels to develop their music and projects.
Is there anything I need to bring or wear?
(i.e. comfy clothes and trainers for street circus)
No, everything can be provided, but you can also bring any recording sessions you’d like to work on.
Are bursaries available?
Yes – if you need help to pay for things like project fees, transport or childcare find out how you can get support.
